The Cedar Park Citizen, a weekly newspaper established in 2008, covers city, leisure, school and sports news in the Cedar Park area.

Published Thursdays with a press run of nearly 14,000 copies, the Citizen is distributed free in particular areas of Cedar Park. Out of area third class subscriptions are available for $35 a year and first class subscriptions are available for $85 a year.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Citizen is owned by Cox Newspapers and is part of its subsidiary, Austin Community Newspapers.
