ROUND ROCK — Adam Waldum was left alone during the latter half of the 4A boys Cross Country Championships Saturday but it was an occasion when the senior Vista Ridge runner could have used some bodies nearby.

The Lady Timberwolves ran to first place at the District 25-4A cross country championships Friday on a chilly, gusty morning in Round Rock. Vista Ridge’s Alex Bundy came in eighth place to advance to regionals as well.
